Sukta 1.45

अर्वाञ्चं दैव्यं जनमग्ने यक्ष्व सहूतिभिः । अयं सोमः सुदानवस्तं पात तिरोअह्न्यम् ॥

arvā́ñcaṁ daívyaṁ jánam agne yákṣva sahū́tibhiḥ | ayáṁ sómaḥ sudā́navas táṁ pāta tiró-ahnyam ||

ಹೇ ಅಗ್ನಿ, ದೈವ್ಯ ಜನರನ್ನು ಅರ್ವಾಂಚ್—ಇತ್ತ ಕಡೆಗೆ—ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ, ಸಹೂತಿಭಿಃ (ಆಹ್ವಾನ-ಸಹಾಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ) ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಯಜ್ಞಮಾಡು. ಈ ಸೊಮ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೆ, ಹೇ ಸುಧಾನವಃ (ಸು-ದಾತರು); ತಿರೋಅಹ್ನ್ಯ ಸೊಮವನ್ನು ಪಾನಮಾಡಿರಿ—ಅದು ದಿನದ ಪಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಗುವದು.
