Sukta 1.40
तमिद्वोचेमा विदथेषु शम्भुवं मन्त्रं देवा अनेहसम् । इमां च वाचं प्रतिहर्यथा नरो विश्वेद्वामा वो अश्नवत् ॥
tám íd vocemā vidáthēṣu śambhúvaṃ mántraṃ devā anéhasam | imā́ṃ ca vā́caṃ prati-háryathā naro víśved vāmā́ vo aśnavat ||
ಹೇ ದೇವರೆ, ವಿಧಥಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಅದೇ ಮಂತ್ರವನ್ನು ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸೋಣ—ಶಂಭುವಾದ, ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಕರವಾದ, ಅಶ್ರಾಂತ ವಚನವನ್ನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ಹೇ ನರರೇ (ವೀರರೇ), ಈ ವಾಣಿಯನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಪೋಷಿಸಿರಿ; ಆಗ ಎಲ್ಲ ಇಷ್ಟವರಗಳು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಲುಪಿ, ಸಿದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ ನಮಗೆ ಮರಳಿ ಬರುವಂತಾಗಲಿ.
