Sukta 1.33
त्वमेतान्रुदतो जक्षतश्चायोधयो रजस इन्द्र पारे । अवादहो दिव आ दस्युमुच्चा प्र सुन्वतः स्तुवतः शंसमावः ॥
tvám etā́n rudató jákṣataś cā́yodhayo rájasa indra pā́re | ávā́daho divá ā́ dasyúm uccā́ prá sunvatáḥ stuvatáḥ śáṃsam ā́vaḥ ||
ಹೇ ಇಂದ್ರ! ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಕೂಗಾಡುವ ಇವರನ್ನು ನೀನು ರಜಸ್ (ಮಧ್ಯಾಕಾಶ)ದ ಆಚೆ ದಡಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಸಿದೆ. ನೀನು ದ್ಯೌದಿಂದ ದಸ್ಯುವನ್ನು ಮೇಲಿಂದಲೇ ದಹಿಸಿದೆ—ಉಚ್ಚದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಹಾರ ಮಾಡಿ. ಮತ್ತು ಸುನ್ವತ್ (ಸೋಮವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತುವವ) ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ತುವತ್ (ಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡುವವ)ರ ಶಂಸ (ಪ್ರೇರಿತ ವಚನ/ಪ್ರಶಂಸೆ)ವನ್ನು ನೀನು ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದೆ—ಅದನ್ನು ಫಲಪ್ರದ, ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
