आ वां मित्रावरुणा हव्यजुष्टिं नमसा देवाववसा ववृत्याम् । अस्माकं ब्रह्म पृतनासु सह्या अस्माकं वृष्टिर्दिव्या सुपारा ॥

ā vā́m mitrāvaruṇā havyá-juṣṭiṁ námasā devāv ávasā vavṛtyām | asmā́kaṁ bráhma pṛ́tanāsu sahyā́ asmā́kaṁ vṛ́ṣṭir divyā́ su-pā́rā ||

ಓ ಮಿತ್ರ-ವರುಣರೇ, ಹವ್ಯದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ—ಅರ್ಪಣದ ಆನಂದದ ಕಡೆಗೆ—ನಮಸ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ, ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಯುದ್ಧಗಳಲ್ಲಿ/ಅಂತರಂಗ ಸಮರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ (ಪ್ರೇರಿತ ವಾಣಿ) ಜಯಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಲಿ; ನಮ್ಮ ದಿವ್ಯ ವೃಷ್ಟಿ (ಕೃಪಾವೃಷ್ಟಿ) ಸುಪಾರಾ—ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ದಾಟಿಸಿಕೊಡುವುದು—ಆಗಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಪಾರಮಾಡಲಿ.
