आ भन्दमाने उपाके नक्तोषासा सुपेशसा । यह्वी ऋतस्य मातरा सीदतां बर्हिरा सुमत् ॥

ā́ bhándamāne upāké náktoṣásā su-péśasā | yahvī́ ṛtásya mā́tarā sī́datāṃ barhír ā́ su-mát ||

ಭೇಟಿಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸುಂದರ ರೂಪಗಳಾದ ರಾತ್ರಿಯೂ ಉಷಸ್ಸೂ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬನ್ನಿ. ಋತದ ಎರಡು ಮಹಾಮಾತೃಗಳು, ಸುಮನಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ಶುಭಭಾವದಿಂದ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬರ್ಹಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಸೀನರಾಗಿರಿ; ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಋತದ ಲಯವನ್ನೂ ನವೀಕರಣವನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿರಿ.
