एवेदेषा पुरुतमा दृशे कं नाजामिं न परि वृणक्ति जामिम् । अरेपसा तन्वा शाशदाना नार्भादीषते न महो विभाती ॥

evéd eṣā́ puru-támā dṛśé káṁ nájāmiṁ ná pári vṛṇakti jāmím | arépāsā tanvā́ śā́śadānā nā́rbhād ī́ṣate ná mahó vibhātī́ ||

ಹೀಗೆ ಆ (ಉಷಾ) ನಮ್ಮ ದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ; ಅವಳು ಒಬ್ಬ ಬಂಧುವನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಬಂಧುವನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಹಾಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಲಂಕರಹಿತ (ಅರೇಪಸ) ತನುವಿನಿಂದ ಅವಳು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುತ್ತಾಳೆ; ಚಿಕ್ಕದರಿಂದಲೂ ಹಿಂಜರಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಮಹತ್ತಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕ್ಷೀಣವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ—ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಬೆಳಗುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
