विद्वांसाविद्दुरः पृच्छेदविद्वानित्थापरो अचेताः । नू चिन्नु मर्ते अक्रौ ॥
Transliteration
vidvā́ṃsāvid dúraḥ pṛcchéd ávidvān itthā́paró acetā́ḥ | nū́ cin nu márte ákrau ||
Translation
ತಿಳಿಯದವನು, ತಿಳಿದವರು ತಿಳಿದಿರುವ ಆ ದ್ವಾರವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಹೀಗೆ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನು—ಅಚೇತ, ಅವಿದ್ವಾನ್—ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಈಗಲೂ ಮರಣಶೀಲನಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಎರಡು (ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳು) ಹಿಡಿಯಲ್ಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
