sāgaraś ca mayā krāntaḥ śrīmān nadanadīpatiḥ |

asyā hetor viśālākṣyāḥ purī ceyam avekṣitā ||5.16.12||

Translation

ವಿಶಾಲಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾದ ಸೀತೆಯ ಹಿತಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು—ನದನದಿಗಳ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯನ್ನು—ದಾಟಿದೆನು; ಮತ್ತು ಈ ನಗರವನ್ನೂ ಈಗ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದೆನು.
