त्रिशङ्कुस्वर्गारोহণम्

सशरीरस्य भद्रं वस्त्रिशङ्कोरस्य भूपते:।आरोहणं प्रतिज्ञाय नानृतं कर्तुमुत्सहे।।।।
saśarīrasya bhadraṁ vas triśaṅkor asya bhūpateḥ |
ārohaṇaṁ pratijñāya nānṛtaṁ kartum utsahe || 1.60.27 ||
ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣವಾಗಲಿ. ಹೇ ಭೂಪತೇ, ತ್ರಿಶಂಕುವಿಗೆ ತನ್ನದೇ ದೇಹದೊಡನೆ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾರೋಹಣ ಮಾಡಿಸುವೆನೆಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಸುಳ್ಳಾಗಿಸಲು ನನಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.
