Bharata Enters the Forest Toward Chitrakuta
निवेश्य सेनां तु विभुः पद्भ्यां पादवतां वरः।अभिगन्तुं स काकुत्थ्समियेष गुरुवर्तकम्।।2.98.1।।
niveśya senāṃ tu vibhuḥ padbhyāṃ pādavatāṃ varaḥ |
abhigantuṃ sa kākutstham iyeṣa guruvartakam ||
ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ಬಳಿಕ, ಪ್ರಭು ಭರತನು—ಮಾನವರಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನು—ಪಿತೃಆಜ್ಞಾಪಾಲಕ ಕಾಕುತ್ಸ್ಥ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಲು ಕಾಲ್ನಡಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಹೋಗಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದನು.
On encamping the army, lord Bharata, the best among men, wished to approach onfoot Rama who was devoted to his father.
