Bharata’s Rebuke of Kaikeyi and Affirmation of Ikshvaku Royal Dharma
तेषां धर्मैकरक्षाणां कुलचारित्रशोभिनाम्।अद्य चारित्रशौण्डीर्यं त्वां प्राप्य विनिवर्तितम्।।।।
teṣāṃ dharmaikarakṣāṇāṃ kulacāritraśobhinām |
adya cāritraśauṇḍīryaṃ tvāṃ prāpya vinivartitam ||
ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನೇ ಏಕಮಾತ್ರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಕುಲಾಚಾರದ ಶೋಭೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸಿದ ಆ ರಾಜರ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಗರ್ವಭರಿತ ಸ್ಥೈರ್ಯವು, ಇಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿದ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಉಲ್ಟಾಗಿದೆ.
