शब्दवेध्य-अनर्थः, ऋषिशापः, दशरथस्य प्राणत्यागः

यद्व्यलीकं कृतं पुत्र मात्रा ते यदि वा मया।न तन्मनसि कर्तव्यं त्वया तात तपस्विना।।।।
yad vyalīkaṃ kṛtaṃ putra mātrā te yadi vā mayā | na tan manasi kartavyaṃ tvayā tāta tapasvinā ||
ಪುತ್ರ, ನಿನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯೇ ಆಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ನಾನೇ ಆಗಲಿ, ಏನಾದರೂ ಅಪ್ರಿಯವಾದುದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅದನ್ನು ನೀನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ; ವತ್ಸ, ನೀನು ಸಂಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆದ ತಪಸ್ವಿ.
