एवं शापं मयि न्यस्य विलप्य करुणं बहु।चितामारोप्य देहं तन्मिथुनं स्वर्गमभ्ययात्।।।।

ಈ ರೀತಿ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಾಪವನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟು, ಬಹಳ ಕರುಣವಾಗಿ ವಿಲಪಿಸಿ, ಆ ದಂಪತಿ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇಹಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚಿತೆಗೆ ಏರಿ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸಿದರು.
