शुश्राव च वचस्तेषां बृन्दं बृन्दं च तिष्ठताम्।हतास्म खलु ये नेह पश्याम इति राघवम्।।।।

ಅವರು ಗುಂಪು ಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವರ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವನು ಕೇಳಿದನು— ‘ನಾವು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ನಾಶವಾದೆವು; ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಘವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಾರೆವು.’
