ततो रुधिरताम्राक्षो भुजमुद्यम्य दक्षिणम्।अश्रुपूर्णमुखो दीनोऽब्रवीज्जानपदं जनम्।।2.50.4।।
tato rudhiratāmrākṣo bhujaṃ udyamya dakṣiṇam | aśrupūrṇamukho dīno ’bravīj jānapadaṃ janam || 2.50.4 ||
ಆಮೇಲೆ ರಕ್ತತಾಮ್ರ ನೇತ್ರಗಳವನಾಗಿ, ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ತುಂಬಿದ ಮುಖದೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೀನನಾಗಿ, ಬಲಗೈಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದ್ದ ಜನಪದದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡಿದನು.
