Transliteration

gomatīṁ cāpy atikramya rāghavaḥ śīghragair hayaiḥ | mayūra-haṁsābhirutāṁ tatāra syandikāṁ nadīm ||

Translation

ಗೋಮತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ದಾಟಿ, ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಓಡುವ ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ರಾಘವನು, ಮಯೂರ-ಹಂಸಗಳ ಕಲರವದಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಧ್ವನಿಸುವ ಸ್ಯಂದಿಕಾ ನದಿಯನ್ನೂ ದಾಟಿದನು.
