Departure from Ayodhya; Civic Lament and the Chariot’s Urgency
ररथमारोह भद्रं ते राजपुत्र महायशः।क्षिप्रं त्वां प्रापयिष्यामि यत्र मां राम वक्ष्यसि।।।।
rathaṃ āroha bhadraṃ te rājaputra mahāyaśaḥ | kṣipraṃ tvāṃ prāpayiṣyāmi yatra māṃ rāma vakṣyasi ||2.40.11||
“ಮಹಾಯಶಸ್ವಿ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಮಂಗಳವಾಗಲಿ—ರಥವನ್ನು ಏರು. ಹೇ ರಾಮ, ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ತಲುಪಿಸುವೆನು.”
O Illustrious prince, wish you well! Mount the chariot. I shall convey you speedily whereever you want.
