Civic Lament and Rama’s Dutiful Approach to Daśaratha
अङ्गरागोचितां सीतां रक्तचन्दनसेविनीम्।वर्षमुष्णं च शीतं च नेष्यन्त्याशु विवर्णताम्।।।।
aṅgarāgocitāṃ sītāṃ raktacandana-sevinīm | varṣam uṣṇaṃ ca śītaṃ ca neṣyanty āśu vivarṇatām ||
ಸುಗಂಧ ಅಂಗಳೇಪಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯಳಾಗಿ ರಕ್ತಚಂದನ ಲೇಪಿಸುವ ಸೀತೆಯು, ಇನ್ನು ಮಳೆ, ಬಿಸಿಲು ಮತ್ತು ಚಳಿಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಅವು ಶೀಘ್ರವೇ ಅವಳ ಕಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಂಕುಮಾಡುವವು.
