ब्रह्मचारी जितक्रोधस्त्रिरात्रं यदि तिष्ठति । सर्वपापविशुद्धात्मा सोऽश्वमेधफलं लभेत्

brahmacārī jitakrodhastrirātraṃ yadi tiṣṭhati | sarvapāpaviśuddhātmā so'śvamedhaphalaṃ labhet

ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಚಾರಿ ಕ್ರೋಧವನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಿ ಮೂರು ರಾತ್ರಿಗಳು (ಈ ವ್ರತವನ್ನು) ಆಚರಿಸಿದರೆ, ಅವನು ಸರ್ವ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿ ಅಶ್ವಮೇಧ ಯಾಗಫಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
