The Consecration (Anointing) of Indra

शास्ता गोप्ता च पुण्यात्मा अस्माकं कुरु केशव । राजानं पुण्यधर्माणं त्वमिंद्रं लोकशासनम्

śāstā goptā ca puṇyātmā asmākaṃ kuru keśava | rājānaṃ puṇyadharmāṇaṃ tvamiṃdraṃ lokaśāsanam

ಹೇ ಕೇಶವ! ನಮ್ಮಿಗೆ ಧರ್ಮಮಯ ಶಾಸ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತು ರಕ್ಷಕನಾಗಿರು. (ಅವನನ್ನು) ಪುಣ್ಯಧರ್ಮನಿಷ್ಠ ರಾಜನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡು—ಇಂದ್ರಸಮಾನ, ಲೋಕಶಾಸಕನಾಗಿ.
