The Consecration (Anointing) of Indra

सूत उवाच । उग्रं समस्तं तपसः प्रभावं विलोक्य शुक्रो निजगाद गाथाम् । लोकेषु कोन्यो न भविष्यतीति यथा हि चायं च सुदर्शनीयः

sūta uvāca | ugraṃ samastaṃ tapasaḥ prabhāvaṃ vilokya śukro nijagāda gāthām | lokeṣu konyo na bhaviṣyatīti yathā hi cāyaṃ ca sudarśanīyaḥ

ಸೂತನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಆ ತಪಸ್ಸಿನ ಉಗ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಶುಕ್ರನು ಈ ಗಾಥೆಯನ್ನು ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದನು—“ಲೋಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇವನಂತ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಯಾರು ಆಗುವನು? ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇವನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ದರ್ಶನೀಯನು.”
