Mohinī
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"bhakti","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_journey":"A devotional request arises (curiosity and reverence), aiming at inner serenity and blessedness through the teacher’s grace."}
It formally inaugurates the Prabhāsa Māhātmya and emphasizes śravaṇa (devotional listening) as a means to gain inner serenity and auspicious merit through the blessing of a realized teacher.
Bhakti is implied through reverent inquiry and attentive hearing of a tīrtha’s māhātmya; the devotee seeks transformation of the heart (prasannātmā) by receiving sacred narration with humility and grace.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; it frames a dharma-oriented practice—listening to māhātmya—as part of tīrtha-yātrā culture and merit-accruing ritual tradition.
