यत्र भूमिमनुप्राप्ता भगीरथरथानुगा । श्रीगंगालकनंदाख्या नगान्भित्त्वा सहस्रशः ॥ ४ ॥

yatra bhūmimanuprāptā bhagīratharathānugā | śrīgaṃgālakanaṃdākhyā nagānbhittvā sahasraśaḥ || 4 ||

ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಭಗೀರಥನ ರಥಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದ ಶುಭ ಶ್ರೀಗಂಗಾ—ಲಾಕಾನಂದಾ ಎಂದೂ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ—ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಪರ್ವತಗಳನ್ನು ಭೇದಿಸಿ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿದಳು।
