Prayaga-mahatmya
Glory of Prayaga and the Magha Bath at Triveni
tena tīrthaphalaṃ caiva vardhate vidhinaṃdini | gaṃgāyamunayormadhye yastu gāṃ vai prayacchati || 114 ||

It teaches that tīrtha-yātrā is perfected by dāna: giving (especially go-dāna) amplifies the tīrtha-phala, showing that pilgrimage merit is meant to culminate in generosity and dharma.
While not explicitly naming Vishnu, the verse aligns with bhakti-dharma by stressing selfless giving in a sacred context—an outward expression of inner devotion and surrender that increases spiritual merit.
It reflects Kalpa (ritual procedure) and Dharmaśāstra-style practice: the prescribed place (between Gaṅgā–Yamunā) and act (go-dāna) are treated as factors that enhance the result (phala) of a religious observance.
