Narrator (Purana-style narration within Uttara-Bhaga; addressed to 'Devi')
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhayanaka
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It emphasizes the protective potency of a sacred sound and the sanctity of the liṅga: hostile forces lose their footing and withdraw when confronted by divine or dharmic power, especially at the auspicious transition of dawn.
Though not a direct bhakti injunction, the narrative supports bhakti by showing that reverence for sacred symbols (like the liṅga) and responsiveness to divine signs (the sound) leads to protection and the removal of obstacles—key themes in devotional living.
Kalā/auspicious timing is implied through 'prabhāta-samaya' (dawn), reflecting attention to proper temporal moments used in dharmic practice and ritual observance (a practical, jyotiṣa-aligned sensibility about auspicious time).
