Description of Pilgrimage to the Sacred Fords
अविमुक्ते वसेच्चैव यदीच्छेच्छांकरं पदम् । घंटा कर्णो ह्रदस्तत्र व्यासेशस्य तु पश्चिमे ॥ २८ ॥
avimukte vaseccaiva yadīcchecchāṃkaraṃ padam | ghaṃṭā karṇo hradastatra vyāseśasya tu paścime || 28 ||
ಶಾಂಕರ ಪದವನ್ನು ಬಯಸಿದರೆ ಅವಿಮುಕ್ತದಲ್ಲೇ ವಾಸಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಸೇಶ್ವರನ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಘಂಟಾಕರ್ಣ’ ಎಂಬ ಹ್ರದವಿದೆ।
