कारितान्वै यथाशक्ति स्वर्णेन रजतेन वा । तदलाभे पिष्टमयानभ्यर्च्य कुसुमादिभिः । गंगायां प्रक्षिपेत्पूर्व्वं मंत्रेणैव तु मंत्रवित् ॥ ५७ ॥

kāritānvai yathāśakti svarṇena rajatena vā | tadalābhe piṣṭamayānabhyarcya kusumādibhiḥ | gaṃgāyāṃ prakṣipetpūrvvaṃ maṃtreṇaiva tu maṃtravit || 57 ||

ಯಥಾಶಕ್ತಿ ಚಿನ್ನ ಅಥವಾ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಿಂದ ಅವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು; ಅದು ಲಭ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಹಿಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ರೂಪಿಸಿ ಪುಷ್ಪಾದಿಗಳಿಂದ ಅರ್ಚನೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಮಂತ್ರವಿದನು ನಿಯತ ಮಂತ್ರದಿಂದ ಮೊದಲು ಗಂಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.
