Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"bhakti","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_journey":"From reverent purification (devotional bath) to disciplined offering (tenfold oblation), settling into calm sacred order."}
It teaches that tīrtha-snāna becomes spiritually effective when joined with bhakti and a prescribed act of offering (tilā and ghee), emphasizing purification through devotion plus disciplined ritual.
The verse explicitly places bhakti first—bathing is not merely physical cleansing; devotion sanctifies the act, and the repeated offerings in the holy river become an expression of reverence and surrender.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is implied through “vidhānataḥ” and the measured quantity “prasṛti,” showing the importance of correct ritual method, repetition count, and proper materials in tīrtha rites.
