Pūjādi-kathana — Gaṅgā Vratas, Tenfold Worship, Stotra, and Mokṣa on the Riverbank

शिवं संपूज्य पुष्पाद्यैर्भोज्यं तु संनिवेद्य च । काष्ठमौनेन भुंजानो वटकाष्टेन वै तथा ॥ ३० ॥

śivaṃ saṃpūjya puṣpādyairbhojyaṃ tu saṃnivedya ca | kāṣṭhamaunena bhuṃjāno vaṭakāṣṭena vai tathā || 30 ||

ಪುಷ್ಪಾದಿಗಳಿಂದ ವಿಧಿಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಶಿವನನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂಜಿಸಿ, ಭೋಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೈವೇದ್ಯರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿ; ನಂತರ ‘ಕಾಷ್ಠಮೌನ’ ಅಂದರೆ ಮಾತಾಡದೆ, ವಟವೃಕ್ಷದ ಕಾಷ್ಠಖಂಡವನ್ನೂ ಬಳಸಿ ಭುಂಜಿಸಬೇಕು।
