वर्ज्यं पर्युषितं तोयं वर्ज्यं पुर्युषितं दलम् । न वर्ज्यं जाह्नवीतोयं न वर्ज्यं तुलसीदलम् ॥ २६ ॥
varjyaṃ paryuṣitaṃ toyaṃ varjyaṃ puryuṣitaṃ dalam | na varjyaṃ jāhnavītoyaṃ na varjyaṃ tulasīdalam || 26 ||
ಹಳೆಯ ನೀರು ವರ್ಜ್ಯ, ಹಳೆಯ ಎಲೆಗಳೂ ವರ್ಜ್ಯ; ಆದರೆ ಜಾಹ್ನವಿ (ಗಂಗಾ) ಜಲವು ವರ್ಜ್ಯವಲ್ಲ, ತುಳಸಿದಳವೂ (ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ) ವರ್ಜ್ಯವಲ್ಲ.
