यो भार्यां प्रणतां पापोनानुमन्येत गर्वितः । सोऽशुभानि समाप्नोति जन्मानि दश पंच च ॥ ६९ ॥

yo bhāryāṃ praṇatāṃ pāponānumanyeta garvitaḥ | so'śubhāni samāpnoti janmāni daśa paṃca ca || 69 ||

ವಿನಯದಿಂದ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸದ (ಗೌರವಿಸದ) ಪಾಪಿ ಗರ್ವಿತನು ಅಶುಭ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಹತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಐದು—ಅಂದರೆ ಹದಿನೈದು—ಅಶುಭ ಜನ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
