मृगपृष्टं परित्यज्य व्याघ्रयोः संमुखं ययौ । धनुःसंहितबाणेन तेनासौ शरशास्त्रवित् ॥ १२ ॥
mṛgapṛṣṭaṃ parityajya vyāghrayoḥ saṃmukhaṃ yayau | dhanuḥsaṃhitabāṇena tenāsau śaraśāstravit || 12 ||
ಮೃಗದ ಬೆನ್ನಟ್ಟುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಅವನು ಹುಲಿಗಳ ಎದುರಿಗೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಹೋದನು; ಬಿಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಾಣವನ್ನು ಜೋಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಶರಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಪುಣನಾದವನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಿದನು।
