हुत्वा च तांश्चरून्सम्यक् ततो होमं समाचरेत् आकृष्णेति च सूर्याय होमः कार्यो द्विजन्मना //
hutvā ca tāṃścarūnsamyak tato homaṃ samācaret ākṛṣṇeti ca sūryāya homaḥ kāryo dvijanmanā //
ಆ ಚರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮ್ಯಕವಾಗಿ ಅಗ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂತ ಮಾಡಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ಹೋಮವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು; ದ್ವಿಜನು ಸೂರ್ಯನಿಗೆ ‘ಆಕೃಷ್ಣ…’ ಎಂದು ಆರಂಭವಾಗುವ ಮಂತ್ರದಿಂದ ಹೂತಿ ನೀಡಬೇಕು।
