शङ्खञ्च वरुणः शक्तिं ददौ तस्यै हुताशनः ।

मारुतो दत्तवांश्चापं बाणपूर्णे तथेषुधी ॥

Transliteration

śaṅkhaṃ ca varuṇaḥ śaktiṃ dadau tasyai hutāśanaḥ |

māruto dattavāṃś cāpaṃ bāṇa-pūrṇe tatheṣudhī ||

Translation

ವರುಣನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಶಂಖವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದನು; ಹುತಾಶನ (ಅಗ್ನಿ) ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು (ಭಾಲ) ನೀಡಿದನು. ಮಾರುತ (ವಾಯು) ಧನುಸ್ಸನ್ನು, ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಎರಡು ತೂಣೀರಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೀಡಿದನು.
