सप्तवर्षं मृतात्मानं पुक्कसत्वे ददर्श ह ।
दिनं दिनन्तु नरके दह्यते पच्यतेऽन्यतः ॥
saptavarṣaṃ mṛtātmānaṃ pukkasatve dadarśa ha |
dinaṃ dinantu narake dahyate pacyate 'nyataḥ ||
ಏಳು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಅವನು ಆ ಮೃತಾತ್ಮನನ್ನು ಪುಕ್ಕಸ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡನು. ನರಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ದಿನೇದಿನೇ ಸುಡಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಬೇರೆಡೆ ಬೇಯಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ।
