निद्राभिभूतो रूक्षाङ्गो निश्चेष्टः सुप्त एव च ।
तत्रापि शयनीये स दृष्टवानद्भुतं हि मत् ॥
nidrābhibhūto rūkṣāṅgo niśceṣṭaḥ supta eva ca / tatrāpi śayanīye sa dṛṣṭavān adbhutaṃ hi mat
ನಿದ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಜಯಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ಅವನ ಅಂಗಗಳು ಒಣಗಿ ರುಕ್ಷವಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ಅವನು ನಿಶ್ಚಲನಾಗಿ ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೇ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದನು—ಆದರೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಲಗಿದ್ದಾಗಲೂ ಅವನು ಒಂದು ಅದ್ಭುತವನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು।
