वरिष्ठाय वरेण्याय परस्मै परमात्मने । नमोऽखिलजगद्व्यापिस्वरूपायात्ममूर्तये ॥
variṣṭhāya vareṇyāya parasmai paramātmane / namo 'khilajagadvyāpisvarūpāyātmamūrtaye
ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮಳಿಗೆ, ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವರಣೀಯಳಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ; ಪರಾತ್ಪರ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮಸ್ವರೂಪಿಣಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ। ಸಮಸ್ತ ವಿಶ್ವವನ್ನೂ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸುವ ಸ್ವಭಾವವಳ್ಳ, ಸರ್ವರ ಆತ್ಮಸ್ವರೂಪಳಾದ ನಿನಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ।

The divine is both beyond and within all beings. Ethically, this supports reverence for life and restraint from harm: to injure another is to ignore the all-pervading Self.
