ततोऽश्व रूपधृग्भानुरुत्तरानगमत्कुरून् ।
तदृशे तत्र संज्ञाञ्च वडवारूपधारिणीम् ॥
tato 'śva-rūpa-dhṛg bhānur uttarān agamat kurūn | tadṛśe tatra saṃjñāṃ ca vaḍavā-rūpa-dhāriṇīm ||
ನಂತರ ಭಾನು (ಸೂರ್ಯ) ಅಶ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಉತ್ತರದ ಕೂರುದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶ್ವಿನೀರೂಪವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಸಂಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ಅವನು ಕಂಡನು.
