Adhyaya 65Svarocis Enjoys on the Mountain; A Debate on Marital Fidelity and Desire

एतासाञ्च यदीष्टोऽयं तत्किं प्राणान्न मुञ्चति ।

आलिङ्गत्यपरां कान्तां ध्यातो वै कान्तयाऽन्यया ॥

etāsāñ ca yadiṣṭo 'yaṃ tat kiṃ prāṇān na muñcati |

āliṅgaty aparāṃ kāntāṃ dhyāto vai kāntayā 'nyayā ||

ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಇಷ್ಟನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, (ಒಬ್ಬಳಿಗಾಗಿ) ಪ್ರಾಣ ತ್ಯಜಿಸದೆ ಏಕೆ? ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಅಪ್ಪುಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರೂ, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನೇ ಚಿಂತಿತನಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
