न विहारे न चाहारे रमणीयॆ न वा वने ।
न कन्दरॆषु रम्यॆषु सा बबन्ध तदा रतिम् ॥
na vihāre na cāhāre ramaṇīye na vā vane | na kandareṣu ramyeṣu sā babandha tadā ratim ||
ಆಗ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಆಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ, रम್ಯವಾದ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಮನೋಹರ ಗುಹೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆನಂದ ದೊರಕಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವಳ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೆಲೆಯೂರಲಿಲ್ಲ।
