कावेरी ऋष्यमूकस्था नासिक्याश्चैव ये जनाः ।
शङ्खशुक्त्यादिवैदूर्यशैलप्रान्तचराश्च ये ॥
kāverī ṛṣyamūkasthā nāsikyāś caiva ye janāḥ | śaṅkhaśukty-ādi-vaidūrya-śaila-prānta-carāś ca ye ||
ಕಾವೇರಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಜನರು, ಋಷ್ಯಮೂಕದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರು, ನಾಶಿಕ್ಯ ಜನರು, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಶಂಖ-ಸಿಪ್ಪೆ ಮುಂತಾದವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾದ ವೈದೂರ್ಯ ಪರ್ವತಗಳ ಗಡಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವವರೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ।
