Adhyaya 54 — Cosmography of Jambudvipa: Continents, Oceans, Varshas, and Mount Meru
सा परिक्रम्य वै मेरुं जम्बूमूलं पुनर्नदी ।
विशति द्विजशार्दूल पीयमाना जनैश्च तैः ॥
sā parikramya vai meruṁ jambū-mūlaṁ punar nadī | viśati dvijaśārdūla pīyamānā janaiś ca taiḥ ||
ಆ ನದಿ ಮೇರೂ ಪರ್ವತವನ್ನು ಪರಿಕ್ರಮಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಜಂಬೂ (ವೃಕ್ಷ)ದ ಮೂಲದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಹೇ ದ್ವಿಜವ್ಯಾಘ್ರ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಭೂತಜಾತಿಗಳು ಅದನ್ನು ಪಾನಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ।
