परमाणुः परं सूक्ष्मं त्रसरेणुर्महीरजः ।

बालाग्रञ्चैव लिक्षां च यूकां चाथ यवोदरम् ॥

Transliteration

paramāṇuḥ paraṃ sūkṣmaṃ trasareṇur mahīrajaḥ | bālāgraṃ caiva likṣāṃ ca yūkāṃ cātha yavodaram ||

Translation

ಪರಮಾಣು ಅತಿಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ. ನಂತರ ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ತ್ರಸರೇಣು, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಧೂಳಿ, ಕೂದಲಿನ ತುದಿ, ಲಿಕ್ಷಾ (ಪೇನಿನ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ), ಯೂಕಾ (ಪೇನು) ಮತ್ತು ಬಳಿಕ ‘ಯವೋದರ’ ಅಂದರೆ ಯವದ ಕಾಳಿನ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವೆಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
