उष्ट्रानश्वतरांश्चैव नानारूपाश्च जातयः ।

ओषध्यः फलमूलिन्यो रोमभ्यस्तस्य जज्ञिरे ॥

uṣṭrān aśvatarāṃś caiva nānārūpāś ca jātayaḥ | oṣadhyaḥ phalamūlinyo romabhyas tasya jajñire ||

Translation

ಒಂಟೆಗಳು, ಖಚ್ಚರಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅನೇಕ ವಿಧದ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ರೂಪಗಳೂ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು. ಅವನ ಕೇಶಗಳಿಂದ ಫಲ-ಮೂಲಧಾರಿಣಿಯಾದ ಔಷಧಿ ವನಸ್ಪತಿಗಳು ಜನಿಸಿದವು.
