Adhyaya 39 — Yoga Discipline: Posture, Breath Control, Sense Withdrawal, and Signs of Attainment
लुप्तस्मृतेः स्मृतिः सद्यो योगिनस्तेन जायते ।
द्यावापृथिव्यौ वाय्वग्री व्यापिनावपि धारयेत् ॥
lupta-smṛteḥ smṛtiḥ sadyo yoginas tena jāyate /
dyāvāpṛthivyau vāyvagrī vyāpināv api dhārayet //
ಯಾರ ಸ್ಮೃತಿ ನಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆಯೋ, ಆತನಿಗೆ ಆ ಸಾಧನೆಯಿಂದ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸ್ಮೃತಿ ಉದಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ‘ದ್ಯಾವಾ-ಪೃಥಿವೀ’ ಮತ್ತು ‘ವಾಯ್ವಗ್ರಿ’ಗಳನ್ನು ಸರ್ವವ್ಯಾಪಿ ತತ್ತ್ವಗಳೆಂದು ಧಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧರಿಸಬಹುದು।
