Adhyaya 32 — Rules for Parvana Śrāddha: Foods that Please the Ancestors and Items to Avoid
तथैकादशमासांस्तु औरभ्रं पितृतृप्तिदम् ।
संवत्सरं तथा गव्यं पयः पायसमेव वा ॥
tathaikādaśamāsāṃs tu aurabhraṃ pitṛtṛptidam / saṃvatsaraṃ tathā gavyaṃ payaḥ pāyasam eva vā
ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಔರಭ್ರ (ಕುರಿ/ಮೇಯ್ದೆ) ಮಾಂಸವು ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಪಿತೃಗಳನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಾಗೂ ಗೋಸಂಭವವಾದ ಆಹಾರಗಳು—ಹಾಲು ಅಥವಾ ಹಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಯಿಸಿದ ಅನ್ನ (ಪಾಯಸ)—ಪೂರ್ಣ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ (ಪಿತೃಗಳನ್ನು) ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
