एकदा तु चारन् सोऽथ ददर्श यमुनातटे ।
पातालकेतोरनुजं तालकेतुं कृताश्रमम् ॥

ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಅವನು ಯಮುನಾ ತಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾತಾಲಕೇತುವಿನ ಕಿರಿಯ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ತಾಲಕೇತುವನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು; ಅವನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದನು.
