Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 25: Kaurava Deliberation and the Search Directive (अन्वेषण-आदेशः)
सर्वथा विप्रणष्टास्ते नमस्ते भरतर्षभ । नहि विद्यो गति तेषां वासं वापि महात्मनाम्
sarvathā vipraṇaṣṭās te namas te bharatarṣabha | nahi vidyo gatis teṣāṁ vāsaṁ vāpi mahātmanām | pravṛttiṁ vā kṛtaṁ karma prajāpālaka pārthiva | tataḥ paraṁ kim asmākaṁ ājñāpayitum arhasi ||
ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲ ರೀತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಅಂತರಧಾನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಭರತರ್ಷಭಾ! ನಿಮಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ. ಆ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಪಾಂಡವರ ಗತಿ, ವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನ, ಚಲನೆ ಅಥವಾ ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು—ಯಾವುದನ್ನೂ ನಾವು ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರಜಾಪಾಲಕ ನರೇಶಾ! ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ನಮ್ಮಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಏನು?
