Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Sañjaya on Arjuna’s Indraloka report and the political consequences

स्‍्नानालंकरणैटईग्यैर्गन्धमाल्यैश्न सुप्रभै: । धनंजयस्य रूपेण शरैर्मन्मथचोदितै:

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

snānālaṅkaraṇaiḥ divyaiḥ gandhamālyaiś ca suprabhaiḥ |

dhanañjayasya rūpeṇa śaraiḥ manmathacoditaiḥ ||

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಸ್ನಾನಾನಂತರ ಆಕೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನ ದಿವ್ಯಾಭರಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸುಗಂಧಭರಿತ ಮನೋಹರ ಪುಷ್ಪಮಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಧರಿಸಿದಳು. ಧನಂಜಯನ ರೂಪಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೆನೆದ ಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಮನ್ಮಥಪ್ರೇರಿತವಾದ ಆಕೆಯ ಹೃದಯ ಕಾಮಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಭೇದಿತವಾದಂತಾಯಿತು.
