Dharma-śaṅkā-nivāraṇa: Yudhiṣṭhira’s Response on Karma-Phala and Trust in Dharma
ततः प्रवर्तते पश्चात् कारणैस्तस्य सिद्धये । तां सिद्धिमुपजीवन्ति कर्मजामिह जन्तवः,तदनन्तर उन्हीं उपायोंद्वारा उस कार्यकी सिद्धिके लिये प्रवृत्त होना चाहिये। सभी प्राणी इस जगतमें उस कर्मजनित सिद्धिका सहारा लेते हैं
tataḥ pravartate paścāt kāraṇais tasya siddhaye | tāṁ siddhim upajīvanti karmajām iha jantavaḥ ||
“ಅನಂತರ, ಆ ಗುರಿಯ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಯೋಗ್ಯ ಸಾಧನಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕಾರ್ಯಪ್ರವೃತ್ತನಾಗಬೇಕು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ಮದಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನೇ ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿ ಬದುಕುತ್ತವೆ.”
